Our framework now has more than 25 million downloads, and we’re extremely grateful for our fast-growing developer community that includes 15,000+ forum members and 750+ contributors. In fact, we have several open roles for the core development of Rasa Open Source. We will continue to invest in Rasa Open Source, the go-to developer framework for conversational AI and an essential component of our enterprise platform. You should also know that we have even bigger changes in store for you for the second half of 2022 and we’ll keep you posted when the next generation of our tooling will be available along with some of the exciting platform capabilities that extend the value you are already getting from the Rasa Open Source framework. We are working on some updates which will be released in a future 1.2 release, and if you have any questions please reach out to your customer success team. If you’re a Rasa Enterprise customer, nothing changes for you. This change will allow us to invest more in research and development and will enable us to drive innovation within Rasa Enterprise, and place a particular focus on tooling that meets the needs of our enterprise customers and users. Rasa will no longer issue new bug fixes, security updates, or patches for Rasa X.

Today we are announcing that Rasa will not be releasing new versions of the Rasa X Community Edition, making Release 1.1 the last free version of Rasa X.
